The 34mm GunnelCore™ Hybrid System has been purpose-engineered to suit the folded C-section storage pockets commonly found throughout the Surtees range.
Configured correctly, the Hybrid System creates a secure Mechanical Friction Fit™ by combining the geometry of the storage pocket with the correctly sized 34mm Hybrid Backframe and premium marine-grade EVA padding.
This engineered mounting method distributes pressure evenly throughout the storage pocket, producing a firm, rattle-free installation without drilling or permanently modifying your boat.
Unlike many traditional rod storage systems that simply hold rods in place, Ultimate Rod Racks are engineered to reduce vibration, minimise movement and better protect expensive rods and reels while travelling, towing and fishing.
Because the Hybrid System remains fully adjustable, the rack can be positioned as low as practical to improve rod support, accessibility and overall cockpit ergonomics while maintaining a clean, factory-style appearance.
The rack remains completely removable, allowing it to be swapped from one side of the boat to the other, transferred between compatible boats or removed completely whenever required.
