Silverback Low Rider (SLR) System
FC Boats feature one of the lowest-profile storage pocket designs on the market.
To achieve the best possible fit, Ultimate Rod Racks uses the Silverback Low Rider (SLR) together with our purpose-designed SLR Stabiliser Support Bracket, creating a dedicated mounting solution for these compact pocket designs.
The SLR backframe has been developed to position the rack as low as practical within the storage pocket while avoiding interference with the pocket floor, improving rod support, accessibility and overall cockpit ergonomics.
Because many FC Boats feature storage pocket upstands below approximately 50mm, the SLR Stabiliser Support Bracket is supplied as standard with FC Boat configurations. This provides additional support and stability while maintaining a clean, level installation with minimal underhang.
Built around the adjustable GunnelCore™ System, the SLR creates a secure Mechanical Friction Fit™ by combining the geometry of the storage pocket with the correctly sized SLR backframe, stabiliser bracket and premium marine-grade EVA padding.
The result is a firm, rattle-free installation that remains fully removable without drilling or permanently modifying your boat.
For owners wanting a factory-style appearance, an optional powder-coated backframe is available to complement the finish of modern FC Boats.

Will it fit my FC Boat?
Most FC Boats featuring suitable storage pockets can be accommodated using our dedicated SLR System. Simply provide your exact boat model and we'll configure the correct system for your boat.
Do I need to drill holes?
No. The GunnelCore™ System creates a secure Mechanical Friction Fit™ using your existing storage pockets. No drilling or permanent modification is required.
Why is the Stabiliser Support Bracket included?
Many FC Boats have storage pocket upstands under approximately 50mm high. The SLR Stabiliser Support Bracket provides additional support and stability for these lower-profile installations and is included as standard with compatible FC Boat systems.
What if my FC Boat doesn't have storage pockets?
Some smaller FC Boat models require an alternative mounting solution. Contact us with your boat model or a couple of photos and we'll recommend the most suitable option.
Can I transfer the rack to another boat?
In many cases, yes. The modular GunnelCore™ System allows the backframe to be changed to suit another compatible boat.
