SLR & Hybrid Systems Explained
Profile boats are built with varying pocket depths, angles, and internal widths, so fitment differs by model.
To ensure the best possible fit, stability, and rod support, Ultimate Rod Racks uses two GunnelCore™ System backframe options for Profile boats.
As with all boats, the GunnelCore™ adaptable mounting system can also be paired with the full Game Series range, allowing Profile owners running heavier tackle or offshore setups to configure Game Series racks with the correct backframe for their boat.
🔹 SLR System – Up to 6.0 m Models
The SLR backframe system is used on Profile boats up to approximately 6 metres, where storage pockets are typically shallower and more compact.

🔹 Hybrid System – 6.35 m Models & Up
For larger Profile models — including the Profile 635 and above — the Hybrid backframe system is required to suit deeper, larger, or box-section storage pockets.

Hybrid Rod Rack System – Built for Larger Profile Models
The Hybrid Rod Rack System has been purpose-developed to suit larger Profile boat models, including the 635 and above, where pocket geometry requires additional structure and support.
Built on the GunnelCore™ System adjustable mounting architecture, the Hybrid system allows precise height positioning so the rack can be set as low as possible for improved access, better rod support, and a lower centre of gravity.
