If your boat has a high pocket with a shallow upstand (under 50mm), the rack may not have enough support. This can cause the rack to move or swing.
To solve this, we offer a 160mm support bracket that slides up the back of the rack to stabilise it. This bracket uses the underside of the pocket for support, ensuring the rack sits straight and secure.
This is particularly useful for certain McLay models and most FC Boats, where the pocket height or design doesn’t provide enough natural support.
The same bracket can also be fitted to the Hybrid Back Frame in these situations to keep the rods lower and more stable on the deck.
